Also finished this chapter. I’m on a bit of a roll, I guess.
Interestingly, Takako seems to think about what we conspired about before as well: Mayuko potentially being Sachiko. Looks like it wasn’t just an artstyle thing and it pretty much is mostly the length of her hair that separates them in appearance.
I wonder if Kozue’s old room will lead adult Takako into the same “in-between” world that Sachiko and Narasaki have met in before as well. Even though she feels the most “disconnected” from that timeline, I have a feeling that might await us next.
The diary ending on Takako having one of her fits is also quite interesting. It seems to be quite abrupt…and I wonder why Sachiko (if it actually was Sachiko who wrote the diary) would just stop at that point.
