I’m in my 30s, from Berlin, married to my beautiful American wife and very happy to be here, since I really miss the good old forum era.
When it comes to Visual Novels, I have to first disclose something. 
Compared to all the intros I’ve read, I feel like I’m more of a VN noob than most of you are. Sure, I’ve played a few, Ace Attorney (and AA ‘Justice for All’) on the DS being my first about 20 years ago, but other than that, I’ve played mostly Western VNs in recent years.
This means this little club is going to be a little experiment for me where I dip my toes into VNs I probably wouldn’t touch if I were playing them on my own. 
To get into specifics, I really loved Arcade Spirits, Overboard!, First Bite and Monster Prom.
Most recently I finished Endless Monday: Dreams and Deadlines. I’ve also watched my wife play lots of Slay the Princess.
I have to say that I grew up loving manga and anime as a teen and young adult, but haven’t been much into it the past 10 years at this point. My friend has tried to get me back into it, but maybe I need a bigger shove.. (and maybe I can lure them into this club, hehe.)
